Parsha Point To Ponder- Chukas
We find that Moshe davened 515 tefillos trying to reverse the decree that he cannot go into Eretz Yisroel. Why do we not find Aron - who recieved the same decree at the same time- davening at all for the privilge to enter the holy land?

Ken zein that Aharon knew that it wouldn't make a difference in the long run for klal yisrael. we know that if moshe rabbeinu would have entered Eretz Yisrael and built the beis Hamikdash it would never be able to be destroyed Ma sheain kain with Aharon so he accepted the punishment as a kapparah for himself. moshe however we can say Davened for the sake of Klal yisrael because he knew it would make a difference to everyone and not only himself.
Moshe was willing to forgoe his Kapparah for the Klal's sake!
I would propose that Ahron as kohen gadol was able to reach his tafkid through the avoda in the mishkan. Moshe's avoda, as rabban shel yisroel, was torah. Rashi brings from chazal (beg. Of vaeschnan) that moshe was nisave because of harbeh mitzvos hatluyos baaretz that one can only be mikayem in eretz yisroel. Not going into eretz yisroel affected kiyum hatora for klal yisreol, which was moshe's tafkid. Thus, while it was certainly an onesh for aaron, it didn't shter his tafkid as it did for moshe.
